Anti-Static Line
The Anti-Static Line from Helisafe is a flexible dis-charge cable intended for use in helicopter hoist operations. The cable will be connect to the hoist hook and touch the ground, ship or water and will ground the helicopter before the rescue swimmer or cargo touch the surface. The cable has a built-in weak-link in the upper loop which breaks at 100 kg ±20 kg.
The Anti-Static Line is made of stainless steel wire with a solid terminal in the lower end. In the upper end is a loop to be hooked into the hoist hook or a carabiner. The loop can be equipped with a snap hook to fit the helicopter hoist hook. On request the insulation can be cut in the lower end in accordance with the customer requirement.
